I feel we should be able to buy office space, that way we could minimize the office rent expenses. It would be a hefty sum at first but in the long run it could save money. Also it could provide an asset to ask for more loans.

In almost all real world airports space is leased on long term contracts.

Office rent is one of the smallest sums on your income sheet.And by owning real estate you would have to hire staff to care for it or pay others for repairing it, you would have to cool and heat it, there are taxes for owning real estate and someone would have to determine actual, changing real estate prizes for thousands of possible locations (HQs are not necessarily always at your airport).
Would that be worth the effort of coding?

On top of all that, most companies that own their office space will setup a company that owns that office space and pay rent to it anyways, so it still shows up as an expense...
