« on: October 07, 2013, 12:16:52 PM »
I obviously still have heaps to learn about how to play this sim.
I see players with 70+ aircraft with another 30+ aircraft on order (mostly large and above aircraft)....within the 1st game year...how? :-(

First of all: Be in a airport with alot of demand.
Second: Use cheap (fuel drinking) Aircrafts there is alot of on the used marked.
Third: Use thoose cheap planes to earn money to expand more with cheap planes.
Next step : Buy New "good" Aircrafts with your earned money and change out your fleet before fuel start to rise to much.

But most important, DONT HAVE A LIFE, JOB & GF.... be online 24/7

:p

Or have a job that involves a computer, snatch planes every four hours and have your peace for the 4 hours in between :)

it mostly has to do with luck... and some skills also.. not to mention if you are no life/or work at computer

1- do you start with a large airport?
2- do you have many competition in starting airport?
3- is your competition experienced/aggressive? or fresh out of beginner's world?
4- are you lucky enough to get the desired aircraft? or do you have to grab alternative?
5- did your competition(or the world) s*** up your slot? or can you just focus on having the right plane?
6- the major route you invested... did it get s*** up by the destination competition?

and many many more

another one: do you use the loan possibilities aggressively and ride your business at the rim of BK using every available cent for acquiring aircrafts/slots/marketing or do you try to stay at the safe side?

it depends, it has it advantage. Some may do it.... if they want to fight for top spot, but at the same time they need to know they already have very strong profit and able to take a hit. As nothing is predictable in AWS world.

You can't win a contested airport with experienced competitors without taking risks.

That's what I do, but just a few moment off the game when slots got released, you're screwed, too. Never had a good sleep. Used to staying up till 12-1 am, waking up at 5am and grab the phone to check slots... etc...

So no job/life/gf is a correct term

it mostly has to do with luck... and some skills also.. not to mention if you are no life/or work at computer

2- do you have many competition in starting airport? LUCK
3- is your competition experienced/aggressive? or fresh out of beginner's world? LUCK
4- are you lucky enough to get the desired aircraft? or do you have to grab alternative? LUCK if you don't have a network notifying through messenger
5- did your competition(or the world) s*** up your slot? or can you just focus on having the right plane? LUCK
6- the major route you invested... did it get s*** up by the destination competition? SKILL to choose the right routes to invest in

and many many more
