As a noob, I've been trying to sort out the meaning of the numbers and coloring of the Yield (RPK, RPM), and Revenue (ASK, ASM) provided on the Manage Routes screen.
There are some excellent posts one can find, with a great summary from SCHRO in this thread:http://www.airwaysim.com/forum/index.php/topic,24867.msg125287.html#msg125287
However, if they are not useful as literal interpretations of profitability, but as relative indicators of price sensitivity on changes of price, what really seems to matter is which way those numbers are heading, after a price change is made, as per Sigma's comments here:http://www.airwaysim.com/forum/index.php/topic,20995.0.html
Once one starts to get beyond 50 route pairs, it becomes difficult to humanly manage (i.e. do from memory...then we must resort to an off-game tracking mechanism - reducing the fun factor for sure).
It would be extremely helpful in knowing, at a glance on the Manage Routes screen, if my price changes are having the impact I intend.
Hence, I suggest that we have an up, flat, or down arrow indicator beside each of those numbers.
