Can I cancel a lease? or do I have to wait until the contract expires?

You can cancel a leaser after 10% of your contracted lease period have passed. You have to pay 50% of the remaining lease periods costs in one strike upon cancelling.

I couldn´t resist looking for the reason you want to cancel a lease only after being with us for such a short time (welcome !), and was confronted with one of the biggest mistakes our new friends begin with, you leased 4 planes of 4 different model families !
Please read over the various FAQ´s that are offered throughout the forums to find out how to avoid running your airline into the ground from day one.
Fleet commonality is a big cost factor and essential to be obeyed.

I was tempted to make things really hard for you in Johannesburg but it's the beginners world so experiment as best you can. I'd reccomend restarting though, avoiding the B1900's and 747's Get a 777/A340/A330/767 if you can and try launching some 4000-5000nm routes don't worry about short haul in South Africa just yet, there just isn't enough demand for any worthwhile aircraft.

747-400 is a good aircraft if it's cheap.

Why(maybe the fuel burn but if you reconfigure them it can make you a good profit). My most expensive B747-400 have leased price about 2 089 810 USD / month and it made me 1 287 638 USD everyweek.

In beginners world any aircraft will work really. In the more difficult worlds you will find that the 747 will cost you far too much to run compared to say an A340. I have several 777's pulling a profit of over 2.5million. And several 767's pulling 1.5million.

I don't know why you're paying so much more for your 777.

You need to remember you need a few more staff to run a 747, and the fuel burn is almost double the 767 for 1.5 times the pax. I'd say flying two 767's would be more worthwhile.
