I need 36 pilots to fly one A340 and one A330?? Is this typical of real world piloting needs for aircraft?

Here's some discussion previously in this same game forum to explain somewhat for you.

Hope this helps.

Hmm so the game almost gives you a new crew for every leg of flight? I wish I was one of those pilots:

"Bob we're going to pay you 140K a year to fly the plane across the Atlantic once a week."

My uncle was #2 on the 727 line out of Miami for many years. That is EXACTLY what they did. ( Well, to Caracas and Tegu, anyway) One out-and back southbound, 3-4 days off, then a northbound 2-day, repeat rinse. 11 days a month was a busy month.

My father is a pilot on A330/A340. He's flying between 3 and 5 trans-atlantic round trips each month, so you're pretty much spot on there Vanquo.

Pay $150k to get your certificates and ratings, spend 20 years moving up in the industry, get furloughed every 5 years, make it to that kush schedule. Then, the airline goes bankrupt, you lose your retirement, and have to figure out what job you will take after your are forced to retire at 65.

It's not all its cracked up to be!

OP: you donīt seem to have even the slightest clue of airline business. So you shouldnīt complain about pretty good working features before you are sure what you are talking about.A question would be more appropiate.
And please watch your tone.I wouldnīt care, but this is a worldwide forum, so skip sexually explicit remarks, please.
