Why do different players have different fuel rates?
« on: March 18, 2013, 09:52:16 AM »
Some players are having $400+ rates, others around $200, that's the market rate, nothing to do with, hedging or fuel contracts.

It seems players have several different fuel rates?

Whats going on in the same game?

The only way they could have a lower rate is by having hedged when the fuel was lower or their fuel contract though the contract doesn't show what price they pay I don't think? Where are you seeing this?

Yup, it's this. Metric is per 1000kg and imperial per 1000lb. There's a big difference.

harumph... its not the Imperial system they use, but a weird colonial version of it : their gallon is wrong, as is their quart : that said, there are many Brits who still think in pounds and ounces, pints and gallons, etc... then have to mentally convert it to please the French rationalists evil logical notions of doing things in tens... now, where is the fun in that?

PS Dont ask how many millions in a billion : that's another big argument too...

A billion?  Obama uses the US debt clock to boil eggs.  When a billion ticks, his soft boiled eggs are done...

Progress with the debt reduction plan then :)
