I believe its 11am Eastern, 10am Central, 9am Mountain, and 8am Pacific for those in the US.

UTC is GMT...will be 4 p.m., for us in eastern and southern Europe will be UTC+2 so 6 p.m. For the Italians and the rest at that area will be UTC+1..For those in Indonesia central parts is UTC+8. For our Golf friends is UTC+4. For our Asian (Korean, Japanese etc friends) is UTC+9. For our Australian friends...well those in South Wales and around UTC+11 (EDT), at the Western part UTC+8 (WST), they also have some places with half time  ???...damn. Their neighbours in New Zealand is UTC+13... 8)


For our American friends  :laugh:,

EST is UTC-5, (Sunshine State  ;D)
CST is UTC-6, (Chicago..)
MST is UTC-7, (Arizona..)
 PST is UTC-8, (California..)
ST is UTC-9 and -10 (Alaska -9, and Hawaii is -10)

The energy saved by that crap in the evening is used in the morning instead, I never got why it was ever introduced. Totally useless.

But I guess that's not the topic of this thread  :-[

It's to do with farmers (at least in the UK) that they have enough light when they start work early in the morning. Although it equates to an hour of darkness later on anyway and working on a building site in the pitch black is not fun I tell you  8)

Daylight saving at least in the UK was introduced in the First World War to increase productivity of factories or something like that. I think it was part of the Defence of the Realm Act. It was so "successful" that at the end of the war they didn't bother getting rid of it. The exact reasons for its introduction are beyond me at the moment! That is as far as I can get with my largely forgotten knowledge of GCSE History.
