No, the achievements must be simple and something the players can track and understand easily themselves without calculations. (for score calc. that may be useful, but it's another thread/story)

And it would be simple/easy to track and understand if there were a balanced scorecard (i.e. a page showing it).  All it would be is a bunch of the existing stats multiplied together.

The problem with achievements is they are all based on nominal values and end up being pretty pointless.  Flying to 100 airports out of ATL is easy, but not so much out of Tahiti.  Same thing with number of aircraft, etc.  Starting in 2000 and building a $200 billion airline is much more of an accomplishment than starting in 1950 and doing it.  They aren't really achievements IMO and tell you nothing about how well an airline was actually managed, which is what using a tool like a balanced scorecard would do.

Here's an idea: Categorize aircraft and have achievements similar to what we have now, but categorized.  For example, categorize aircraft by prop planes, regional jets, and jumbos.  Then instead of "operate 300+ aircraft" you would have "operate only 300+ jumbos" or "operate only 300+ regional jets".

Operating a fleet exclusively of jumbos or regional jets or props is much more difficult IMO than having four fleets types of varying sizes.

I'm looking at stats right now in GW2--how about a weekly flights achievement?  There are only 5 airlines with 20,000+ weekly flights, so the levels could be 5000/10000/20000.

Similarly, route pairs could be 500/1000/1500.  There are 41/17/2 airlines hitting those numbers, respectively.  We have airports served, but route pairs is a little different since you can now serve 1 airport from 10 bases resulting in 1 extra airport served, but 20 extra route pairs.

Yearly Passengers - Level 3
Managed an airline that transported more than 200 000 000 passengers in a year.

Has anyone actually ever accomplished this?  The largest airline in GW2 transported 163 million last year and has 1000 aircraft, 850 of which are B747 and A380 in the year 2014 with 6 years left in the game.  I understand some of the games go to 2030, but it would seem this achievement will be permanently out of reach for all but 1 or 2 airlines that end up playing to 2030.  Maybe it should be 100 million or 150 million pax instead?  In GW2 that would mean 10 or 2 airlines earning it, respectively.

(FYI; these changes are postponed since our UI/graphics designer is from Ukraine and I haven't heard from him in a few months now ..)

Me likes.

I'm just not sure of the aircraft condition trigger : if you buy/lease ONE aircraft, you can have quickly every status(if I understand well).

Others just seem fine to me. (I'll be Russioan Aricraft lover, with my 374 A148s). Do Canadian/Brazilian planes count as American? Do Japanese/Chinese planes count at all? (though it's not important).
