Unprofitable 727-100?

I have 4 leased new from the manufacturer 727-100.
I cannot afford to break the leases.  

Other airlines are using the 727-100.  Are they profitable?  Why can't I make them profitable?

Do I need to put them on long haul or short haul routes?

Most of my valuable routes have competiition.Do I need more marketing?

Do I need to raise or lower fares?

Hmm!   ???  Thoughts?

Mine are my most profitable aircraft. I use them on transcon routes with high demand.  I own all mine, however.

We can't see your route planning/info, or your scheduling, or your aircraft profit info. If you want decent advice, you need to include decent information. Why are they losing money? Because they're flying near empty? Because they're flying full but not making enough money to pay for fuel/leases/staff/etc? How do the ticket prices you have compare to default? Do you have them flying brand new, 70 seat routes, or established, large routes?

There's no reason you can't make them profitable.
