New small plane type
« on: September 10, 2012, 11:13:52 AM »
Hi, I'm thinking about getting a new smaller plane around 40/50 seats to fit just below my Saab 2000. Some routes have 80 pax demand and i would like to fill that up, but putting two daily routes of SB20's (116 pax) would be a bit to much.
Would it be better to fit a couple of SB20's with fewer seats or get the new (third) plane type.

Thanks for the advice.

Fly 2 daily Saabs. 116 daily seats vs 80 demand is fine.

You can also reconfigure the Saabs to be 48/2 rather than 58/0, using regular seats rather than HD.

Agreed. It's not worth adding another fleet. Just reconfigure the aircraft to suit the mission profile. IIRC, you can put 42 PremY seats in it so you can fly routes as low as 30 daily. Just another option you can use if really needed.
