Yeah some bigguns just went. Not sure how much is boredom and how much is fuel ($250 now).  Perhaps a combination of both?

well, this fuel price is not boring at all, on the contrary, it makes things very interesting :D

I'm enjoying it. I'm well on my way to a 100% owned fleet, and those savings are covering the cost of the fuel spike.  In the meantime, I'm slowly adding routes as my competitors BK. I think I'm well positioned at the moment! (Of course now I'm destined to BK myself!)

Seriously? Fuel in Jet Age ($338) is now higher than in Modern Times ($325). And that's without even accounting for 30 years of inflation!

This is my first JA game, I always assumed prices would be low low low!!

I don't mind, my profits are increasing, but still, I'm kinda suprised.

Adjusted for inflation, 1980-81 saw the most expensive fuel on record, 10% above the peak in 2008. IRL, it came crashing down between 1982-1985 and stayed cheap through the 90's and into the early 2000's....

MT#7 may be $325 at time of posting, but it has been at $600+ not that long before and, no doubt, will do the roller-coaster back up there again soon, probably higher again :(

But I thought fuel spikes were random and not following real world events? Just being slightly adjusted for inflation along the way.

As I understand it, prices are random but based on historical prices/events. Not entirely RL, but not entirely fictional, either.

Ah.. then it's slightly predictable at least.

In fact they tumble out of my reach, things around me stay busy as ever. Donīt like to start over after making my baby a success with a lot of micromanagement.

These fuel prices are really hitting my Concordes!  >:(
I need the new game engine so I can impose a 5% Fuel Surcharge without driving away 90% of the pax!
