A319/320 on routes +2300nm
« on: August 10, 2012, 04:09:09 PM »
Is it possible to get good LF and profits on routes +2300nm with A319-320? I have route JED-LGW, CI 90, RI 49, default prices LF around 10%, prices decreased 50% LF around 35%. No competition, demand around 130/day. Is it worth to wait, to increase RI, or with that kind of aircraft, no matter what I do, LF will be low. If so, what planes should I use on routes over 2300nm, with demand between 100 and 150?

If you think of it; it's a 7 hour flight after all. Average daily demand is around 120 so with 50% RI you could potentially reach approximately 50-60 persons, and actually I see on some days your Y class sales have been 45-67 / day. Don't see what prices you had that day of course, as those are from the route history.

Yes, it was with prices decreased by 50%. So, what would be situable aircraft for routes over 2300nm with demand 100-140?
