LHR has it's advantages doesn't it, but you can keep them !   I'll stick to places where this slot nonsense does not happen I think.

I'd consider that $100mil fines are chump change when running these sorts of numbers : its what, 10% of the monthly revenue : relatively speaking, its laughable.


You're right, the fines for these airlines as compared to their income is "chump change". I believe if you really wanted to punish these airlines take a percentage of their slots away. That might have more of a sting.

Just my 2 cents worth....

The mentioned players have been warned (+ fined), and after warning comes closure/ban if similar happens again. So in my mind it is enough..

For now, I shall lock this thread since I do not see any benefits in continuing the talk on the matter.
