If I have lease contract for 2,5 years and I enter 1,5 years in lease extension gap, will it be 4 years total?

Keep in mind that the new lease cost applies immediately, so you pay the higher lease cost on your current contract and new contract

My advice on lease extension: don't do it, don't extend manually, let the system autoextend.

Only extend manually if you have a very good reason to, when you are looking for very specific lease termination date...

I have A320 with D-check expiring in 4,5 years. Have leased it for 2,5 years (488k per month). Extended for 1,5 years and now I'm paying 476k per month and have it in service for 4 years!
