No F demand within US?
« on: July 25, 2012, 07:08:11 PM »
Longhaul domestic routes such as SFO-JFK and BOS-LAX have significant F demand in DOTM and even JA. But zero F demand in MT7. Is this a bug, or is this a permanent change?

Thanks!

The only I can think of is the AA B762, soon to be A321. Save for the odd 777.

In addition to the positioning flights of international 777/747/767 between hub cities (such as DEN-IAD and ORD-SFO), both United Airlines and American Airlines offer 4x-6x daily three-cabin flights from JFK to SFO and LAX. AA does this on 762s as ArcherII pointed out. Whereas UA specially configured a subfleet of 757s into three-cabin configuration in order to serve the F class demand between New York and and SFO/LAX. So the demand exists, at least on these premium transcon routes.

makes perfect sense on those few routes...  Just not more than maybe a dozen or so possibilities.

There is also no F class in Japan either.
