DOTM4?
« on: April 22, 2012, 08:21:15 PM »
I hate to be "that guy," Sami, always asking what is coming next, but for planning purposes will we be seeing a DOTM4/ATB "standard" game to follow up DOTM 3 or is the system ready for an ultra long game world?

Thanks!

I imagine it will be another 30 year game so I am really excited at the DOTM spanning also the ATB period. 1980/85-2010/15 sounds perfect to me.

Will make all the fleet planning worthwhile, seeing as right now phasing out my DC-10s for modern widebodies is a pointless and fruitless task I am yet still undertaking. Maybe then I'd have to bother with my MD-80s as well  ;D

I agree, the 1980-2010 period would be excellent  ;D Just sayin, Sami  ;)

Maybe we can extend the span... since JA is jet a 30yr game, maybe try make this a 40yr one? 1980-2020... that would be awsome. Also, by the time we reach the 1990s era, it would be an ideal MT replacement, thus covering 2 games in just one :)

I care not for the plastic/paper planes of the 2010-2020 period but might as well appeal to those who do.

Well, 2020 would give the option for a 2nd fleet change, to next gen LH jets :)

Sorry, but ever since you claimed that in DotM 1 or 2 with your 500 a/c from ORD, it had become a running joke... just say: "real-life commitments" to alexgv1 or lilius, both will get a laughing flash ;D ;D

My congratulations, by the way :)
