Do airports grow
« on: March 27, 2012, 08:54:59 AM »
I was wondering, do the number of aircraft being handled per hour rise when the game progresses?

My airport has 20 per hour, while I believe thats way too less compared to real life (when I look at the number of departures right now)

Yes, the slot number grows.

However, it is ~1960 so it is a totally different thing what is compared to real life or 2012...

Sure enough it's different :)
I'm also playing in the 1994 world. Based in CTA with very low capacity, can I expect those slot numbers to grow too?

You will see slots grow a bit annually.  I don't know if it is linear or logarythmic, though.

Runways do not get extended, that much I can tell you (warning to ppl in MDW, LGA, or Sao Paolo)
