Used Aircraft and Engine Commonality
« on: February 27, 2012, 01:38:13 PM »
Quick Q. There are some 763s and 762ERs that I'm eyeing up but because there aren't many good ones, I am considering maybe getting PW AND RR varients. How important is that? Does it matter as much as a/c types? Personally, I have never been one to be reckless or get any a/c for the sake of it but I really think it may be okay. Only leasing till '11-'15.

engine commonality isn't a huge deal, especially if you already have a few planes on hand. The only time it is annoying is when your fleet only has 2 planes, but even then, not a huge deal.

Thanks Schro!!! That's now given me a bit more breathing space to plan new strategies.
