Ok. I'm sure this topic has been talked about before but I would really appreciate my fellow AWS CEO's opinions. Which aircraft would you go for and would you lease or buy straight away?

I am leasing 4 used B767-200s and 1 used B767-200ER ATM, with plans to accuire 15 more to service routes with with demands ranging from 160-260 from TTPP to N.America, Europe and Africa. They will all be replaced by B787-8\9. But i also have alot of routes as mentioned in the title to N and S.America. Now my insticts tell me 2 get E195ARs between 500 + 2200NM and B737-700\ER for routes with similar low PAX but with ranges like 2200 - 4000NM.

What are your thoughts and what would you do?

E-195AR should be good, although not sure how well it will perform towards the maximum range (it's great on shorter sectors getting 4-5 in per day).

If going for Airbus/Boeing at least use the A320/A321 or 737-800/900ER, I'm sure schro would agree and give his explanation based on the operating economics.

Better to use these larger planes as lower costs per seat, definitely if you can fill them up. However if demand is smaller perhaps the Embraer is more ideal?

You more or less confirmed my thoughts on this. Thank you. What i'm gonna do is lease some 190 +195 for very short hauls then buy some and attempt to make a profit close to their max range. I will onlt do this once my firm is well stable. Thanks for your support.
