3 times different demand on return leg
« on: February 11, 2012, 07:46:59 PM »
I am flying HKG-CEB route with ~400pax demand while on return leg the demand is just ~130pax. Any ideas how/why this could be possible?
I put two flights with 150 seats each - which is absolutely adequate for an onward leg and now I am getting an oversupply message for the return leg - does not seem to make any sense...

Exact same thing in JA for me. I just ended up using a 722 that satisfies the outbound demand and returns a bit under half full. The population of CEB should be a half a billion by now with no one returning back to HKG!

I think you are right. The population is 500 million in real life. No baby restrictions.... round trip tickets is the answer!
