A & B Check Help
« on: January 11, 2009, 03:28:34 PM »
I have a 6 hour daily gap (over night) in my schedule.  Yet, whenever I try to schedule A & B checks, I get the following message:

Error: The maintenance check overlaps another flight or maintenance check already in the schedule. Please alter the day or time.

I have tried different days & times.  I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

That will only occur when the maintenance overlaps, obviously. Lol

If possible, can you post a screenshot of just the plane's schedule that you're trying to perform maintenance on?

I looked it up and your schedules are quite empty, ie. you could try to put in more flights at least for the 2nd plane.

And the A check fits nicely to any day at 00.00 for example.. It just overlaps some flight with the time you tried.

Yep, like Sami said. Remember, that you can't put the arrival time of the last flight as the starting time for maintenance, but have to wait for the minimum turn-around time so every1 gets out from the plane first.

First, I cannot find a place that shows all three of this plane's daily rotations, so:

N102AZ  737-200

Dep IAH   6:00    Arr ATL   9:20
Dep ATL 10:10    Arr IAH  11:30

Dep IAH  12:10    Arr ATL 15:30
Dep ATL  16:20    Arr IAH 17:40

Dep IAH  18:30   Arr ATL 21:50
Dep ATL  22:40   Arr IAH 00:00

I have tried to put the A & B check at 00:05 on different days.

I still get the note alerting me that scheduled or checks overlap.

I cannot see why.  I have more than 5 hours for the A check.

When it lands to IAH at 00.00 it must unload the passengers too ... So put the A check to start after the turnaround time (0035 or something?). or just simply at 01.00, which fits before the 0600 departure next morning.

Thanks.  :)  This is information helped & the schedule was accepted.

Another question:

1)  Is there a place to see my financial bottom line?

B checks are ment to overlap flights as they are only done once a month (every 4 weeks). So, just schedule another flight at the same time as B check, and then just once a month, the route will not be flown, and there will be no negative things like flight cancellation or image dropping.
