Has anyone seen a difference when lowering prices on routes? I guess my question is, is the price management page just there for cosmetic purposes or does it really work as far as pulling more passengers, etc? I have a route thats $222 one way, which i think is exorbitant. And im thinking i cant fill my planes (on routes that i fly alone) because of the ticket price. I want to lower the price.. again, but i dont want to risk losing any more money.

The ticket pricing has a definite effect on passenger desirability on the route. But there are many other factors too, and if the other factors are poor even avery low price may not help.

My experience is:
- Higher than default price will not bring higher revenue (as LF goes down).  When RI and CI are low, higher than default price has a very bad effect on LF.
- Unlike real world, lower price does not help competition at all, it will not bring more revenue when no competition is flying.

As a result, there is no point in setting prices to anything other than defauld.
