Which 777?

I wanted to know what 777 I should go with, because I've heard around that some just don't work out.

Which 777?
The A330  :D

Sorry, couldn't resist.  I've never really used 777's but the wisdom seems to be that they're no good in this game.  Having said that - the bigger ones SHOULD be better than the 200's if you can fill them.  Avoid Ultra-long-haul if you can.

Try older -300 or -300ER in the used market. Brokers are releasing them at good discounted prices. Otherwise, go A330 or B764.

I'm using -200s, -200ERs and -300s, and they're all doing just fine. Even a few -200LRs are doing not too bad, even with routes out to 7200NM. Lease them at prices well below value, and you should be fine. Just make sure that you have engine commonality and a few years to go before D-checks.  :)

they key to all of this is that you either DONT lease the 777 or only get it well below value.

I have written in a previous thread that lease costs are way over reality. My integrity was questioned, so I wont pursue the matter anymore!
