I'm 100% shure that they're making huuuuuge losses. I tried once, and it BK'd my airline almost immediately (wasn't enormous airline but still).

It's an airline flying from somewhere on the West Coast in the US to Florida. I wish I could remember which airports, but I think one of them is Miami. The LF wa like 20% when I looked at the statistics.

It is RothAir, between Miami and L.A.X.

I think it is cool to see other people trying different things.

So, Mikey, how's the cereals?

Yeah it can fly any route within range on AWS, the procedure to not accelerate to and fly at supersonic speeds over land are not modelled.

1st off, he just BK'd

Also it is completely illegal to fly it on this route at supersonic speeds.

You know, there are good reasons why it is illegal to fly at Mach 2 ;)

The 'stupid yanks' as you call them invented supersonic flight.

It is illegal for other reasons.  The sonic boom is the main reason.  It shatters glass.

The Stupid Yanks didn't invent supersonic flight, its physics not something you can invent.  And they may have been the first to purposely break the sound barrier (as it was broken before by WW2 Planes) they certainly were not very good at making a plane that could do it for 3 hours straight, and TILL THIS DAY they are not able to do it, hence the fact that concordes engines are still classified.

Only better...  :-[

Cause the Tupolev didn't really work.  :-\

I'm gonna call that one up. If Olympuses were classified they wouldn't be on display in countless museums as they are and I doubt the team on XH558 would be able to get hold of them. And of course the fact the Olympus is made and still in use as a generator and marine engine.

I think we can count the new Falcon as a plane. Even though it's not occupied, I don't think it's a rocket.

But let's get back to the Falcon when/if they make it work.

Id kindly ask that you stop referring to americans as stupid yanks.

Also, there is no need for supersonic travel in the usa as it is illegal over land.  Boeing was working on their concept plane long ago and decided that it didn't fit into its business model.    If the concorde was so amazing, they would've made more than the handful they did.  Don't get me wrong, that bird was amazing.  I've watched every tv special on it and cant wait to go see it in Washington

It's a good thing they're classified... Oh wait.

it was the yanks that stopped its progress

they banned the plane for many routes they simply got jelous that the europeans got to build a supersonic plane that actually worked 1st

its ashame that concorde was never mass produced or spin offs never really happened but thats life i suppose.

oif course most yanks will probably disagree

The only reason they were flown in the first place is because Air France and BA were basically paid by their governments to fly them. Singapore also was to fly some but they got overwhelming complaints about noise. Plus I don't see anyone complaining about the bans on Russian planes. Same concept, there is essentially no difference.

BTW, we're not "yank's, we're Americans. It's a demonym coming from the word "America" which is short for "United States of America".  :)
