Game Speed

I have to day that the 20 min days in this game are excellent!

Really makes the game a lot quicker and exciting!

Fifth. I don't know about other production lines, but when I wake up in the morning, there are two unscheduled MD's coming in just a few game days. So there is just enough time to schedule them, and then go to work. And the same thing happens when I get home from work. ;)

Could not be better.

Sixth! I also agree -- I would like to see this speed on future games with a longer time span.

I absolutely agree. Sami seemed reluctant to go with faster game speeds, but it's so much more fun.

Sami, I demand that you promise future games at this speed. Otherwise I'm going on hunger strike :P

(And by the way, it looks like I'm new to the game, but I actually have been playing a while under a different account and just switched to this one).

Best regards,
Shane

Been saying this from ages , I think 20 mins is tad fast- 25 mins is  "JUST PERFECT".

At last there are few people who agree with me , now lets see this happens in future games :P and people who prefer longer games then can a compositely diff game scenario.

cheers

People who want a longer game world will have one soon, at least sami has been talking about that.

Ok I will be the first one to disagree with the faster game speeds.

While the faster game speed appears to have some advantages - one being that you get to see the results of your decisions implemented sooner (which is probably what everyone posting to date likes) it has a major drawback - being that it is makes the sim very time consuming if you want to keep up with the pack.

Faster game speeds may be better suited for people that are in a position to 'monitor' the game closer e.g. run the sim in the background while at work, but I don't believe that it is suited to the players that log on 2-3 times per day to check progress and make changes, etc.

Edit - but i am eagerly waiting for the 70+ year longer game...that will be interesting...imagine 6-7 planes refreshes being required in the one game.

Do you think that renewing your fleet ain't time consuming? Much, much more job to do than the difference between 20 and 35min speed.

Ummm No
As the additional fleet renewals will be spread out over a lot longer game which is no different than playing games back to back.
Whereas 20 min days mean that everything moves quicker meaning that you need to log on more often.

That sounds brilliant. So we're all agreed then on a new 70 year game with 1 minute game days? :P

For us people that have a job and a family we can not sit at the computer all day and watch days click. Sure on my day off on Sunday sometimes 20 min days is cool but a lot of the time keeping up with 35 min days is tough when you can only manage once or twice a day.
