Hi

Thanks for repy, was looking at configuring an A333 with Y315 and C28 and similar on the airbus A332. I know it will reduce the range of both types but i dont really have huge demand for F class and also my routes are in the range of 2000-6000nm.

With that sort of config the 763ER/400 cant really compare can they?

Is that a good config for you A330 fans

Cheers

You can config a 764er with: 0/24/312  or 0/30/304...  Either way you are saving 6% of fuel costs with the 764 over a333

Only prob with this mate is the range issue, dont think a 764ER will reach the 5400nm+ destinations in this config. Im leaning more to the Bus at the moment, or maybe i could run both types.

An A333 isn't going to be reaching 5400NM+ destinations with 300+ seats in it either.  Max range variant is 5460 with standard config (280 seats).  If you stick 345 pax on board you're going to be back somewhere around 5000NM or less I think, based on the difficult to read range graph.

While the A332 can go further, in terms of fuel consumption it's much closer to the 763ER than the A333 and 764ER on a fuel per pax basis.  (note: I'm figuring that based on max pax capacity since aircraft can be configured in a variety of ways.)  It's still better, but the advantage is not anywhere near in the same league as the A333 and B764ER's advantage over the A332.

Ohh.... I was comparing it to Delta's fleet:

Version 1:     36 Business 181 Economy
Version 2:     41 Business 200 Economy
Version 3:     40 Business 206 Economy

Granted the Business in this case might be Premium Business...but still

Delta is only flying the 76D configuration which is all lie flats in business class, so that would at least be a premium business seat equivilant in the game. All other configs have been put out to pasture.

Yeah i know the A333 wont be reaching them mate but the A332 is an option...as im looking a destinations up to 5500+ and the A333 and 764 wont reach in the configs im looking at with 300+ standard Y and around 28 standard C seats.
