I have 7 B-734's.  You have to check every few hours, but I manage to get two every RL day by logging on about four-five times and hanging out for a bit.

I saw the A320/B737/MD80s available when I don't have the cash to lease them. When I gain sufficient cash, I never see them again in the market

I got Impatient waiting for A321's so I snatched up a ATR-42-500 and a ATR-72-500.... To prepare for the Dash 8-400Q's I plan on ordering  ;D

Also paid off 1 mil of my loan too

Paying off your loan early on is not worth the hassle as you need every penny you can get for when an aircraft you really want does show up.  Some of the most successful airlines are hurtling into minus figures now as they loan as much as they can in order to secure vital orders at this stage.

That is true. I just hate having it imo.  It's been a while since i have played  ;D still trying to remember everything I learned from the betas and previous games.

I think one of the hardest things early on is the lack of things to do, despite feeling like you should be doing something :)

ATRs are good for your market, so nothing wrong with that move.  Cash is king though.

I hope the ATR's will be good. I wanted some Dash 8 -400Q's... faster and more pax. But I saw the ATR's pop up and snatched them.

And yes cash is king. I will bounce back tho... I make a good 500-600k a week (decent for an A321 and A319- I will never operate a A319 again)

making 500k a week, even with little competition, you will get BKed soon enough - I'm making 3.5 mil a week with competition, and I still am in serious danger.

Depends. I have no competition on my routes atm.

Also depends on where you are based also... ;D

Yeah you need to use money to earn money. im having a minus 5.2 millon at my account atm. used all the cash and loan i can get on planes, so now minus for setting up the routes. And i even has 4 more planes to set up in the coming 10 game days.

I just saw that you are at PBI. WTF could convince you to go to PBI????!!

Look at the demand to ATL, JFK, EWR, ORD and LGA (just to name a few)  ;D

Its a smaller airport , I know. But there is still good domestic demand. And a lil SH Intl demand (Mostly Dash8-400Q stuff). I hate fighting with people over routes and stuff... I prefer to fly under the radar ;D

Ik I wont be able to expand to ATL or ORD but that wasn't my plan anyway. I prefer to keep my airlines smaller atm... I always have kinda. Once I get going I will have a pretty good sized one. I just hate that It's taking for ever (i like the 20 min game days better). The biggest one I had was in Geneva, Switzerland. Which is a great base btw...

I can tell my strategy is different from yours by alot. I prefer to fly SH and you are flying LH. It's all cool... just depends on what type of player you are.
