I'm happy it's not 500. 400 may seem excessive, but there is a lot of opportunity out there. Even if you went to a small regional airport you can dominate the routes to the large hubs (ATL, ORD, JFK). Also, slots are growing every year now so there is no rush to expand as there will always be slots available with the growth (or at least the opportunity to get new slots). I only have 2 planes and just ordered my 3rd with no rush to grow to 100. In 5-10 years I'm going to have one of the leanest and meanest airlines out there because of my long term strategic planning versus short term myopia in the name of growth.
