Key West Questions
« on: May 15, 2011, 08:11:10 PM »
Hi,
I've been a bit absent lately from AWS and i was wondering that i could maybe start a small airline in this or the next games and i wanted to be based in Key west. Could you please tell me a bit how the situation is in this games, especially regarding route demands?

Thanks very much,
Filippo

Well as in real life, the route demands are quite high, HOWEVER... you have to find a plane to get in and out of there... and your probably gonna be stuck  :-\

Don't think he's in the game world, hence asking.

Not Very Helpful is it  ???  I had a peek for you and KEYW to Miami is 110 Pax but route has 150 seats provided by one airline and to Atlanta you have 490 seats and no airlines operating it - hope this helps  :)

One more piece of info: there are no slots in ATL to operate the route.

q400 airline from there could be viable
thanks for the info everyone :)

BTW, shouldn't the route to MIA have more pax? American Express flies 6 times daily with AT7, hence 420 seats roughly

Well that assumes that American Express fill the aircraft... the true figure could be considerably less than 420.

true, but surely i think that they wouldn't be flying six aircraft if they had 25% LF. Assuming that those aircrafts have 60%-70%, that figure should be in the range of 250 - 300

If you can back that up with offical statistics and references to them for SAMI then he will probably at some point look to change the pax numbers flying but only if you have offical sources for the stats  ;)

Don't think he will, since he's working with city based demand already...

But, I'm just putting words into his mouth, so dont't take me too seriously  ::)
