Passenger demand

Can anyone tell me why, for example, when there is a passenger demand for 50 pax and I am the only airline serving the route, does my LF rarely exceed 17 - 20 pax?  Thanks

If your CI and RI are low and the route is relatively new, it will take time for the LF to climb. As RI increases you should start to carry more passengers.

Thanks Norgefly. Tried all the obvious like reducing fares, altering times etc - have to wait and see. Thanks for your time.
