aircraft type to jump on a route opportunity, Boeing 737-300/400 or MD-80 series. All Y class. I can't get another A320 to save my life at this point at a reasonable lease. They're always high, but whats there now is just rediculous. Suggestions?

In MT4 right now, I'd suggest you stick with the A320, since 737s have just as high lease costs and MD-80s are getting old now.

I agree, I would get another 320, even at high lease price.  Lease prices eventually adjust to "normal".

OK then. I know its a commonality thing, but was trying to jump on a route. I can still probably do it if lease prices come down during the next round of replenishing. An A319 would be ok too, but I haven't seen many of them.

If the aircraft is leased by a lessor rather than a player, expect the price to adjust to normal after leasing the plane for 1 year.

I would do the MD90's. Cheap to get, performs as well as the A320/B738.

The only stretch from LGB (if you're still there) is it'll have issue hitting the northeast without a stop, even with the ER's
