Fleet Commonality question
« on: May 04, 2011, 06:36:57 PM »
I'm trying to sort out my fleet commonality, because i'm not allowed to join any alliances til i do!
Is it a problem to have, say, a DC7, a DC7-A, a, DC7-B, DC7-C, or are they all counted as the same?

You can see the fleet group of an aircraft at the specific aircraft page. However, all different DC-7 variants are in the same fleet group.

The only one to really look out for is:
731-732  /  733-735  /  736-739  (those are 737s in case you dont know)

All MD80s and A318-A321 are in the same group.

When I just started playing AirwaySim I thought the B747 was one type as well, which it isn't. So one more to look out for is the B747-100/200/300, B747-400 and the B747-8, which are all different types.
