WDW did not open 'til 1971.  So why do 100 pax want to go to MCO from DTW every day to visit a swamp?

I am wondering why only 4 to 5 people a day want to travel between the largest city (New York) in the United States in 1950 and the third largest (Phildelphia) .......

Have to remember, at this point in time, flying was the LAST consideration until the end of that decade.

I don't know why I get 200 people a day to Orlando but I am not complaining.
