Boeing 737-900
« on: March 14, 2011, 01:31:12 AM »
Hello,

There seems to be 150+ 737-900s parked in the desert - are they ever going to move to the used market?  ;D

I've noticed the brokers tend to start with the oldest/smallest planes of a fleet type and work through those before moving on to the next.

For example, in DOTM, the brokers had a truckload of L1011-1,-100,-200 and -500's. Over a few game years, they gradually released them in that order - thus, once all the 700 and 800 series 737s are out, then you'll likely see the 900s start appearing.

Thanks for the reply - the other 737s are out, but still 150+ 739s in the desert... over the last 24 hours none have made it onto the market at this point. I guess it is a wait and see what happens to them.
