Boeing Fleet Commonality
« on: March 09, 2011, 05:52:48 PM »
I already have boeing737-800 series..
if i were to get the old 737-300 series (lack of available planes)

does it count as two different fleets hence double costs?

Thanks, this is my first game world in 1.2 and after over a year absense.

300 400 500 is one fleet type and 600 700 800 is another. So yes it is a new fleet type.

Yes it does, and it will more than double costs, because of the weird commonality structure used in AWS.

In this game, yes.

In the real world, training from the 737-400 to the 737-800 takes 1 day yet they are different fleet types

HOWEVER, training from 737-600 to the 737-900ER takes 2-3 days despite they are the SAME fleet commonality according to AWS.
