Middle east - drop in pax demand
« on: February 08, 2011, 07:12:33 AM »
I've just had a HUGE drop in pax demand... from 300/day down to 40/day from Riyadh to Baghdad. I'm going to guess this symbolizes the start of the gulf war... but there's no announcement of such in world events.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any thoughts -- is it appropriate for me to assume that this will be a longer-term drop in pax demand due to world events, and not a short-term blip in the system? Now that the anti-monopoly police are sending me messages... I need to adjust.

Thanks!

Yes, it's that what you guessed. But the event news don't cover these yet (basically only gulf war and 9/11 are the major things)
