the one that has lower production lists or better commonality with your existing fleet. When I started in JA, I used DC-6 and C-46 as they both used the same engine model. Only a small saving but as start up every penny counts

The -300E, no doubt. Fuel savings is just a tad lower and there's an extra CC required.
But, the pluses are far more: quicker (even less fuel), shorter turn around and it gives you the 40 seat -200 "for free".
Thoses 10 seats might not seem that much, but there's quite a few routes with 35-40/pax/day demand.
