is there any point of getting insurance for my aircraft? Do planes ever crash?

I'd rather pay for insurance without the risk of my plane crashing than adding the feature of planes possibly crashing. But no, planes never crash.

As far as I know, plane crashes aren't coded yet. So at the moment, insurance does nothing but incur costs. So, it's best to put it on just liability for the planes you own.
