[ok] Hire to 100% but don't fire
« on: December 28, 2010, 04:45:20 PM »
On the Personnel page, could we have a 2nd button that would hire staff to 100%, but this new button would not fire anybody over 100%.  (In manual staff maintenance).

Come on, it takes just 30 seconds to adjust them yourself. ;D

Let sami spend his precious time on more useful features.

It seems to take me 30 second per slide bar.  Slide bar is the least user friendly control.  When I have 26180 cabin crew, and the number needed is 26080 (and I don't want to fire 100), it is a lot harder than adjusting between 10 and 11....

You can type the exact numbers you need directly to the digits showing your employee numbers next to the bar ;)

 :-[  I didn't know the field was editable  :-[

Still, it would be a nice little feature....

Yeah, it distinguishes itself pretty well when it doesn't have the white background editable fields usually have... I also have to double check when I change those to be sure it was changed.

I started typing in the staff numbers when the slider clicking became more errating overnight, and there was no staff grow in the meantime. I used to do some clicks on the slider moving bar and it would increse staff numbers but suddenly that action became too "effective" and added like hundreds of staff in each click.
