The title says it all... It is 2010 and an A380 has been scrapped, I'll try pitching it to Emirates if you want...

Stop the Rolls-Royce and Airbus hating, just because Americans hate seeing people not buy American. Get over it.

Only reason General Electric is leading the engine market is because of CFM (which I'm sure all you smart people know is a 50/50 joint venture with Snecma, a French company, yet they managed to make the world's most popular turbofan engine).

People need to know their facts or not bother posting IMO.

I'm sick of it. Support European industry!

Same reason that a 767-400 got scrapped a few years back in game.  Someone went broke the hard way, ran out of cash to pay for maintenance, and ran the aircraft down into horrible condition.  Past a certain point the in game leasing companies don't care how new an aircraft is or how in demand, it just gets scrapped.

Maybe it was cheaper to scrap than do a D check?
