How can I move a route to another aircraft?
« on: December 01, 2010, 11:04:26 AM »
I fly with 2 ATR 500, and have now leased an ATR 700.

How con I move my very profitable routes to the bigger airplane, without additional cost for slots?

Hi!
You can do that either by clicking the 'Move Schedule' (green arrow) on Routes- SCheduling -page next to the aircraft schedule you wish to move. This will move the whole schedule, so every route, and checks.
If you want to move just one route, you must first remove the route from the aircraft currently flying it, and then assign it to the new aircraft.

Thanks very much, I missed the "move schedule" button. But it would be nice to have a "move route" button on the route information page.

You don't need a 'move route' button - routes are not assigned to aircraft, only to a type of aircraft (i.e. a fleet group)

Only on the scheduling page do you choose which specific aircraft to use to fly a route
