AC recommendation
« on: November 14, 2010, 05:04:45 PM »
hi!
I was wondering which aircraft i should try for covering the 900-1500nm range (between 85-100 pax). I'm a regional carrier operating just AN-140 that make nice profit and i want to expand to the next range of airports. I studied the CR900LR, Antonov 148, ER195 and variants of them... What do you guys recommend? greetings

given you already operating AN-140s, try the AN-148s to expand as it will keep costs relatively low. ;) If that doesn't work, try the CRJs.

Cheers,

I don't think they're in the same fleet group because An-140 is a twin turboprop and An-148/158 is a twin jet engined regional jet.

I'd still say give the An-148/158 a go though, it's a beautiful plane.

The E195STD is what you're after, great aircraft.
Excellent economics  :)
Plus you have commonality between the rest of the E-jet family, which ranges from 60-120 seats and up to 2500ish NM range (very versatile)

Although the backlog is large, you wont regret the wait when you receive them  8)
