« on: October 22, 2010, 12:12:00 AM »

We have alliance in the game, that is a agreement with a group of airliners. But codeshare between airliners??

What do you think about this in the game?

It's a little difficult unless you have 100s of slaves employees to plan it and put all the routes at the right time and work through the slots.
No replacement for displacement

It really depends on how the database schema is set up as far as route planning. I think the real complexity comes with the multi-part routes, which aren't implemented here. I believe that being a part of an alliance does give you an LF% boost, which is about as close to modelling the real effect as possible as sami can get right now.

in a previous game, airlines can enter code share agreements with another airlines. It basically you select how much % of your seats you are willing to let the other airline sell. So for the most part, people do 5% code share. So basically 5% of the total seats is sold by your code share airline.

Not again guys.....

Codeshare is something for further AWS development. This matter has been discussed for many, many times.

And will be here in this gameworld 2 leg routes from some date? Something like LHR - HKG - SYD, or SIN - FRA - JFK like is usual in real world.
Im planning route from MUC to AKL (9792NM). Thanks

Please use the SEARCH function... you can find it in the top right corner of the forum.

Hahaha! I've only played the games for a couple of weeks and I've seen the more-than-one-legged-route thing pass by at least a dozen times...
