He has only nine fleet groups, if I counted correctly. As long as he can fill the seats, quite possible, though he will surely need to adapt in the long run, as fuel prices rise, etc.

its okay for now. Once fuel prices soar to $1000, that needs to be fixed

I'd keep an eye on this airline, but for different reasons than is being cited  ;)  He'll be near the top later on :)

???

Ralph

Tis true, my credit rating is D. Because..... I borrowed $190m - quite legally. Some people like to get going with $4m start-up capital. I like to start playing with $190m. Makes things go a bit quicker you see. I just hate waiting for new aircraft to arrive, for slots to disappear, and for competitors to grow (esp that guy Beijing Intl  ;) !).

9 fleet groups - yes. But min 6 acft in each fleet group. And the crappy old L1011s and B732s will be gone and replaced with shiny B773s or B744s soon enough (ie before $1000, and more importantly before D checks). And the F27s, MD80s, and F100s will be gone too, when I have enough A321s, B739s and E195s.

Looks like you got plenty of slots Ralph, but fleet groups with only 2-4 aircraft???? Yikes. And having nearly all your aircraft with an optimum range of 0-300nm out of Beijing????

I wish you the best of luck.  :P

ps can I buy some of your slots???   ;)

How did you manage to get $190m loan? :( I never had luck to get more than $5-6m at a time. Should change a bank probably... >:(

Yea, how do you people get these astronomical loans early on.

I see airlines with values down at really low numbers which I assume is down to a massive loan, how?!
