After two failed attempts before the game had even started  finally settled on what I wanted to do in the first place, a low key UK based airline from my local airport Liverpool. Things seem to be going fine so far, but having only played my first game within the last 7 days, I'm probably not the best to judge.

you can go BK and remain in game.  On the 4th BK, you're a goner.

Really going to be very hard to get planes in the future with no md80 and boeing 737 classic in this game to order.

Cheers, I'll just fire away on here if you don't mind?

At the moment just got the one Bombardier CRJ100ER on lease, doing 4 return flights a day between Liverpool and Heathrow. Haven't reduced prices, the flight loads range from 72% - 80% (Demand is 140 seats a day, I supply 208). A second Bombardier CRJ100 is about to turn up, to do pretty much the same, but to Gatwick (Demand is 160 seats a day). In about a months time, got a new Bombardier CRJ200 arriving on an operational lease which I plan to run 2 return flights a day to Luton and Stansted (100 demand each). My plan from here is to get another CRJ200 on an operational lease to do 2 return flights a day to Edinburgh and Glasgow this time, which have demands of 140 and 90 a day.

That's my basic game plan for now, a quick run through of the financial figures in my head suggest I'll be making a small profit, but that's enough to keep myself happy. Cheers for any advice you can give, I'm just trying to be a solid airline.

You're better off nosing a CRJ100 into the ground and collecting the insurance.

Ah well, guess I'll learn the hard way this time! Is there anything specifically wrong with them, or just not value for money?

in real life all airlines are scrapping them or are returning them to their lessors.  They are simply too costly to fly.  Unless you are 100% full, you aren't covering your fixed costs.
