What are your plans with the DC-8? Use it until the game world ends or scrap them in the mid 70s?

For myself I will for sure get rid of the DC-8-20 to DC-8-5x until mid 70s, but I'm unsure what to do with the -62 and -63 because they have a not too high fuel consumption...  :-\

I'm just about to ask the same question in the alliance forum... :D
Any newer planes that can replace the DC8-20 - DC8-50s ?

There is no squarely replacement until B727-200Adv is available.

Replacement possiblities for DC-8-20, DC-8-3x, DC-8-4x, DC-8-5x:

B727-100 and B727-200
B727-200Adv (range like -100 but seats like -200)
B737-200Adv

DC-10-10

Also there is no replacement available for DC-8-62/-63 in the whole game. DC-10-30(ER) is much bigger, B767 won't arrive until the game ends, same with B757. Also the first A300 variants have much less range.

Hope I'm wrong. If yes, please correct me.

I hope you were wrong too, but seems you got all the planes fact correct.... :'(
The worst option, keep them till the end of the game.
