Dormant Airlines
« on: July 24, 2010, 11:48:36 PM »
Just wondering if it would be possible to suggest any airlines that seem to be dormant and therefore using slots that active airlines could use and need could be closed?

For example there is one at Stansted, where very few daytime slots are available, which opened on the same day as the game world, has a fleet of four Convairs, 4 route pairs and a value of $26m. Things like that are just restricting the active players.

How do you know he's dormant. If there are no slots, then obviously he cant grow and isnt big enough to open a new hub.

Inactive airlines are automatically removed after certain period of inactivity by the player (ie. not logging in).

It must be super-long.  Because I've gone over 60 days without logging into a particular account and never seen that warning and have competed against airlines whose players haven't logged in in over 45 days and nothing happened there either.

No, the inactivity is determined by your logins with the user account (ie. last time today/just now), not from opening the airline in game worlds.

Gotcha, but I've still competed against players who haven't logged in in over 45 days before and they were never shut-down.  And that's coming off their account profile page, which is account-, not airline-, specific.

I don't necessarily agree that's what should happen either, just stating that it might not possibly be working as you think it should be.
