How is the number of Airport Slots determined?
This is because I wondered most specifically about the number of slots at MUC. In the game this airport has just 28 slots per hour, while german wikipedia and other sources say that the airport has 90 Slots per hour (As we just have departing slots the number in the game should then be 45). Considering it has two independent runways it seems pretty logically.

the game is now in 2001. maybe you'll have 45 slots by 2010.

Some airports are pretty close to reality.  Most airports are just arbitrarily determined based on their relative size.

Airports do grow in time, but MUC won't be at 45 in just 8 years time.  So it probably needs an adjustment.

You can PM sami with the request, what the airport is, what the number should be, and the sources that provided that number (Wikipedia not being a source).  He has changed many (most major US airports were WAY off before 1.1 for example) and may change MUC.

Hi Sigma,

So what you are saying is that all the Airport in AWS will grow automatically and the slots will increase?

Thanks

Shortly, yes.

Growth is slow but it happens since ATC systems develop over time, runways are enhanced and so on.
