Bases are important, but we cant include all of them on the map. (it might potentially mean 100 blips on the map.. (25 airlines x 4 bases))
Perhaps list them as a tiny blue dot or simply via text. Alliance managers has to read a bit as well - just like in real life you dont base who to invite on their geographical position alone - so you check out the airline overview page, in which we can already see the bases. I personally think that is enough.
Well, in AWS, geographical position is really the only thing that matters at all
when selecting Alliance members (minus financial considerations of course). And even that's pretty minimal.
And the point isn't to see the bases of the person applying, but to see the bases of all your other members the same way you can see all their headquarters now, which is what you look at to ensure you're not bringing someone into the Alliance that shares bases with someone already in. Unless you plan on checking the pages of all your other members every single time to see if they share any bases.
All in all, 100 dots on the map is nothing and is clearly legible even if all of them happened to be wholly within the US. Most displayed maps within AWS have at least that many on them. A Route Map for example has hundreds
of dots on it and
lines. Airport Info can have thousands
