they can. Canada Air. perfectly fine as it isn't "Air Canada" which is copyrighted. Or even Continental Airlines; if someone did Air Continental, it would be fine as no one can just copyright "Continental" as it's a common word. Things like "Virgin" for example, though, are different because the actual word "Virgin" is copyrighted. ;)

airBirmingham should punish them by oversupplying Birmingham Air's routes and dropping prices. That will teach them...

There isn't a list of airlines that players could view before creating the airline.. Probably that's why.
